Ok, here it goes. I had a 99 Tacoma TRD Access Cab. At 120k miles I found the frame was rusting through. Two weeks later I'm getting a check for 13k from Toyota. I ended up buying a 2010 regular cab 4x4 basic truck. For whatever reason, though I loved me old truck with all the goodies I always wanted the regular cab with the basic stuff. From looking at the posts it seems I'm not the only one. Part of my thinking too was that by spending less on the new truck I could put more money into customizing it the way I want it. With the '99 because it had all the options I tended to keep it stock. Because it's my daily driver I don't do a whole lot of off-roading. Occasional trails and stuff but nothing like some members do. So on my list of mods to do are as follows:

    - Upgrade from stock Dunlops to BFG A/T's. If anyone has pics with their stock steel wheels with 31" BFG A/T's please post. I haven't found any by searching.
    - New wheels. Because I don't do much off-roading I'm thinking of a polished aluminum in lieu of black. Once again, please post some pics. I haven't been able to find any online that I like.
    - Sliders from Avid Offroad. If anyone has pics of them on a regular cab, please post.

I apologize if these were covered elsewhere but I didn't find any threads covering this.

Pics of my old truck and the new one below. I know the old one was very bling (so to speak) with the visor and the brush guard.
