Ill add to the Krown love. I had them drill holes - I wanted it done right.

Just be warned parking your truck back at home after the application will cake your driveway in oil. Id say give it 2 or 3 days of parking on the street to be safe.

Only drawback for me so far was the continual residue on the windows from rolling up and down after they spayed inside the doors. Took about a month for it to die down.

Im curious to see other peoples tacomas whove used crown since the get go.

I had krown deal with my old 97 rav 4. Its was oil sprayed from previous owner and me from day one, The undercairge just started developing rust in a 1/4ft area. So hardly any and it was coming on 20yrs old. However, when you pull the plugs outs there was a bit of rust developing around the holes they drilled. Also talked to body shops around town, and they said despite the oil in the doors, it eventually still rusted at the seems. Partly may be due to the metal debris falling into the holes, and advancing any rust.

The shop in my area to has been slacking on my dads f250 diesel. Was rust free and they missed an area and skimped out on other areas. Now theirs a bit of rust starting. Was a vehicle from the states, so was rust free.

I now spray my own, 80$ buys you a 5 gal jug and can coat about 2-3 vehicles. just make sure you have a big air compressor. I coated my truck within the first few days of owning it :)

Ok, this is the front door seam on my 2004 odyssey after 10 years of ontario winters and salt. Was krowned every year.
All the doors seams are in the same condition with no rust , seam seperation or paint peeling.

Yeah, should probably have cleaned that off before the photo :)
Thats just dirt sticking to the krown oil film. Always cleaned off the otside of the door panel but didn't want to use soap or anything on this area that might get in the drain holes.
