Hell all I’ve owned my 1999 Tacoma since 2006 and it’s time to do some body work. I’ve found a box off of a 2003 and was wondering if it would fit. I’ve already done a frame repair and would like to keep the old girl looking good. Any help would be appreciated

    A 6 ft bed is a 6ft bed you're good to go.

That would mean the 2003 donor would have to be a regular cab or access cab.

Thanks guys it’s a rust free box from the southern states. Mine is in bad shape,The Canadian winters and all the salt we use in Ontario has done its toll on it

Welcome! I am also from Ontario and agree with the salt, it eats everything. As stated, as long as it is from the same body style, it will fit on your truck. Couple beers and a buddy or two and the swap will go smooth. Make sure to soak your bed bolts in penetrant every few days about a week or two before you do the swap. Ask me how I know :welder:

If it comes with the tailgate and lights and is clean no rust and body damage $500 is a good ball park from a private seller. If it's from a dismantler you will be in $1,000 range.
