    Welcome to Tacoma World!

Make sure the sub doesn't hit the back of the seat when it moves. Restricting the movement can rip the spider (suspension) of the speaker which will cause it to rattle and bottom out when a big bass note hits. The front of your box may be too close to the back of the seat to allow free unrestricted movement.

I flush mounted the sub so now it doesn’t touch the seat. The taco tunes box was garbage. You couldn’t even flip the seat forward with it cause it was so tight. The box I made is actually wider than the taco tunes box and not quite as deep.

I also used marine plywood so if the cab ever leaks again, I won’t have a sponge soaking up all the water!

I also ordered a steering wheel from a recycler that was in good condition. I may consider recovering the old one with new leather and maybe add a little padding. If anyone wants their wheel leather redone, I may offer this service in the near future.51E6CC4A-97E4-413E-B6A6-A1B0997213C6.jpg

Very nice clean-up you got going on!

I'm not a fan of chrome either...just subtle hints like the door badge and tailgate on my black Taco.

Eventually will delete the grill I have for the TOYOTA one. I do like the look of that.

    Welcome!

Thanks! I didn’t pay a lot for the grille. I think it was only $160 cdn. It was a super easy install too. Only took about a half hour. The badges are just overlays but they were super cheap so I just went that route for now.

I'm looking for grill on Amazon now...I'll save it for later.

I've got plans for other add-ons but have to go slow so as not to be Impulsive on my Taco...lol!!!

Yes I need to slow down on the purchasing for now. I’m going to be back in the hole as much as I was with my RAM! Luckily we have this truck shortage right now and I made money on that POS! Lol. I got a pretty good deal on the TACO but it was severely unloved! But mechanically it was well cared for at least.

    HAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah, my wife is my regulator for expenses on my truck. At first, she wasn't too fussed with the side steps and mud flaps but when I got the Black Chrome tailpipe, red lettering on tailgate, and Quicklift for the hood, she started getting annoyed.

I bought the oil filter wrench and justified it to doing my own oil changes on Dover AFB Auto Hobby Shop. The DC Roof rack is another issue...lol.

    I'll hold off until Christmas.
