No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
the ONLY v6 that are not rated to tow 6500 are the ones that don’t come with the factory tow package. and thats because they are using a bumper pull.

A HELL OF A LOT more than a tow package goes into deciding what a truck is rated to tow! frame strength.(1st and 2nd gen have different frames) engine size, trans, all other drive train parts. just adding a receiver and trans cooler will NOT make your little 2.4l and NOT the V6. even with a factory tow package the 2.4l is not rated to tow 6500LBS.

So can I tow a CAT excavator that weighs like 20 tons? I have the factory tow package and I feel that my truck could easily tow it without a brake controller. I think I could make it through the mountains and snow without issue. Lol

A xsp is just a base sr5 v6 with a kit they send the techs and then charge you 6800 more for the package. It would cost too much for a manufacturers to design a whole system around a special package than it is to sublet it to whoever the dealer has do their work. The one I drove as a loaner had made in texas in the door then the Window sticker has xsp paxkage installed in laurens sc by ......
