New to TW

Hey guys, I finally decided to make an account here after spyin around a bit lol. Well i've had my tacoma for a little over a year now, its a 2007 V6 PreRunner SR5 in white. Bought it used at 25,000 miles, it has 39,000 now. Wish it was 4x4, but i dont really offroad too much, I would if i could...

After seeing peoples builds and pictures of what they can really do to it, decided im going to start to mod up my truck. Its been stock the whole time i have had it, just been using it at a daily driver to work and school (College) and didn't really care much for it other than keeping it clean.

Today i got my windows tinted, makes it look a little better so its not so damn hot in the car. Here in Arizona its over 100 degrees so.. Needed to keep it shaded lol. Any advice on starting fresh to mod would be great. Dont know exactly where to start other than CAI and exhaust.

Ill try to get some pictures before the weekend.

 

welcome to TW from WI! Here are a few suggestions--if you don't go with a CAI, do a "deckplate mod" (there are some writeups on here). Lifting is always smiled upon 'round here too . Blacked out emblems and 'de-badging' are pretty cool, but so are custom fabricated grills. Offroad lights are also very beneficial

welcome, a good lift and some tires will do wonders....post pic of your truck and show us what your working with.

- Geoff, i searched the deckplate mod, and what ive read so far is that its for a 1st gen.. I have a 2nd gen.

I do plan on lifting it, and getting bigger tires just dont know how big i should go.
