Bought an 08 2.4L Regular cab. First toyota and so far so good.Put an extang trifecta cover on the truck and I'm pretty happy wth it. Use the truck for work I'm an electrician by trade. Got the 4 cyl. because I average about 90 miles a day to and from work so I needed something that was good on gas and will take some high mileage.Hope to do some mods to help performance. Hope to find some good advice from the forums.

    Welcome to TacomaWorld!

The first thing you can do is to remove the secondary air filter. A few minutes and zero dollars away from better performance. :D

Thanks for the welcome and the info on the filter. Anybody have an opinion on putting in a cold air intake. It seems simple enough but will the noise drive me crazy on the highway and I leave for work at about 5AM. I don't want the whole neighborhood waking up.Thanks for any info.

Welcome to TW, you could not have chosen a better truck, I just talked to an ironworker who travels a bunch through the Northeast, and he too has a I-4 Taco.
