10k miles and periodic no start!
turn key and just a labored whooshing sound- no engine turnover. return hours later and the truck starts after cranking over for a full 10count... odd.
then its fine for days. dealer is confused....

    anyone else??? ideas???

Sounds to me like a grounding issue, or the starter is dying...

Hmm... I've had some periodic starting problems on my 09 as well... It always cranks over but sometimes it's hard to start - it'll turn over for a while and then I'll key it off, crank it again and it usually starts up.

I know the earlier models had an intermittent no start TSB for extended cranking, but why is the 09 having issues

there was a TSB on this a while back. Take it in. They reflash the ECU.

Had the same problem on my 07 when it was new. The TSB to fix it back then was...TSB EG011-07 for recalibrating ECM to correct OP Code EG5054 T1-T2-99. After the recalibration I haven't had the problem since.

yep.......tsb for it.............dealer should square it away by reflashing the ecu as chris said. they did it for my 06 when i was having the prob, and it was fine afterwards.

If any of you get your 09' ECU flashed via TSB, please post back here and let us know. I think mine may be having that issue too. Thanks
