I need to get 5' x 5' plywood from time to time and needed a way to get it with my DC. Had USrack in Central California make this rack up for me. They call it a "Low boy". We made a few changes to the stock design to suit my needs. Overall I am very happy with it and they were great to work with.

The load is on the bed side rails and it can hold 6" of material. The lumber is boxed in on all 4 sides and it has tie downs. The rear forks come off for easy loading and the width and length are adjustable. It installs/removes in about 5 minutes. The mount clamps sit on top of the rails with a padded bracket and a padded clamp coming up under the inside of the rail to clamp the rack in place.

It was very stable even on the highway. (55 mph)

I also added a hitch so I can make a extension to support the end of a 4'x8' sheet of plywood.

    Very happy with it.

Now don't i feel like a dope. This was supposed to be in the Gen 1 forum. Mod's, can you please move.

So, mine is not for sale but they are available thru US Rack. www.usrack.com. They are called "Low Boy". You will not find it on the web site though. Email them and ask for Chris. He was great to work with. Tell him Matthew sent you. It was $200 plus shipping.
