    Hey all,

I just purchased a 2005 X-Runner in Speedway Blue. It was a great find... a local truck, single-owner, and low mileage. And by low, I mean just over 10k miles. It's in amazing condition, and just by looking at the under-carriage, I'm not sure it's ever been driven except in dry weather. Maintenance history looks complete, though with only 10k miles there wasn't much service required.

It appears to be bone-stock with the exception of the grills... it's got the billet-style grills, and I'd prefer those to be stock. They appear to be good quality, and the installation looks very clean, but I can't tell how to go back to stock. When I search for grills, it shows the entire surround (either chrome, black, or painted to match the body). Is it possible to buy just the stock inserts, or do I need to buy the whole thing and have it painted?

And one last question -- a friend also has a 2005 Tacoma, but 4WD. On his, the console on the ceiling with the lights and glasses holder has a temp/compass display and a button. Mine has a pocket for garage-door-opener rather than the display/button. Are the X-Runners wired for this?

    Thanks!
