There's a guy in my complex with a DC TRD sport and I swear it sits two inches higher than my Reg Cab prerunner. I thought the only difference was the wheel height. Am I wrong? What all is at play in the DC sport's ride height?

Let me also say, this guy hasn't modded.

You sure you have a prerunner? I think you have a base model. If that is the case, then yes the TRD equipped models do sit higher.

Looks like he has a 6 lug in his avatar.

With my tires (265/75/16), as well as having the rear spring TSB done, you can see a noticeable difference in ride height between my truck and an SR5.

He just appears to have the same wheels as I, so I assumed their 6 lug.

Are you sure he doesn't have a lift?

Yup, absolutely sure its not a lift. I'll try to snag a pic this afternoon.

My truck is a six lug. It's the SR5 prerunner. I'm pretty sure that was the only 2x4 purchase option in 2010 reg cab six lug. Either way my badging says sr5 prerunner and it sits quit a bit higher than a 2010 AC (not prerunner) also in the complex.

It might just be the 17 in wheels creating some kind of optical illusion for me. I haven't had the chance to park it side by side.

Your hight should be the same as the DC TRD sport. He might have an AAL or TSB and spacers up front? Check out the struts and the rear leaf springs on his truck.
