68873F38-044F-495B-A2B8-03525980FB61.jpg Hello Everyone! I’m new here to Tacoma World. I’ve been creeping the forum for a while, figured I’d join. I purchased a used 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-road in inferno back in February and I’m loving it!
I work at a Toyota dealer. I’ve been there for 2 years now, so Feb I finally decided it was time to get a Taco! No regrets!
I’ve done a few little mods so far. Everything has been cheap. Most expensive was window tint at $100 and everything else well under $100.
The first pic is from when I first got it. our clean up at the dealership had just gotten it cleaned up for me.

Here is after I installed some LED low beams and Fogs. High beams eventually. You can barely see my toe hook is red. Got that idea from a YouTube channel. It’s just the stock hook painted with some rustoleum. I think it’s pretty cool though!
    22A0F990-235D-4440-ACCB-14B137981A6B.jpg

I also pulled the “V6” badge and installed the “Tacoma” letter inserts on the tailgate.

    C04421B5-7714-499C-AB09-1BE4F56F9DC1.jpg

I also swapped out the chrome exhaust tip for a black one and Plasti Dipped my door emblems.

Eventually want to do wheels and tires but for now I may just leave them as is or do the vinyl overlay.
Under the hood I put the TRD air accelerator. I know that’s lame... but for $25 I wanted to see if you could hear more intake sound. I really don’t know if you can or not but I figured $25 was better than going nuts and buying a whole intake that don’t give any real gains anyway... so...
Interiors wise the coolest thing I did (in my opinion) was a red TRD start button from Meso customs.

I also painted the trim ring black. I plan to do the same for the 4wd knob trim as well.
Let me know what you guys think!
    I’m glad to be here!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
If you have any wheel suggestions throw them at me. I’m really debating 4Runner pro wheels on grey to add a little contrast but still don’t know. Trying to just make as many subtle cheap changes as I can to get it looking clean and custom, but all without blowing a ton of money.

Just a side observation. I have 2 of those Sam's Club storage cabinets in my garage. I like 'em.

Also like seeing someone take a slow, thoughtful, budget minded approach to their vehicle.

But since you debadged the rear end, include stripping that dealer sticker........ blah. Unless you bargained to advertise for them for $1k a month or something. :D

Man I know... but I work there, so I gotta leave that on for now. I did drop the license plate bracket though. haha
They’ve been super good to me, so I can leave my sticker. It’s a Fox. Our dealership is Fox Toyota. It’s a family owned place and they are honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, so... for now the Fox stays. lol
But thank you! Yeah, I always try to take my time and do mods that make an impact but not too pricey, and try to make it mine you know.

Well I Pulled the trigger on another mod! Had been thinking about different wheels but just can’t hate the OR wheels.
My truck had Michelin highway treads on it. So I got some Falken WildPeak at3w’s and sized up 265/75/16. Now I’m really happy with the look. got them for $540 installed no tax. And sold my take offs for $175. The takes offs were on the truck when I got it. Not sure how many miles on them so I didn’t wanna charge too much... but to only be out $365 the new tires make a huge difference.

Also made a YouTube video of them and it shows some before.
