    Ok guys,
    Here goes. I just bought a 2009 tacoma access cab, v6, it says SR5 on it, but I have a couple of ?'s..
    1. Is it a "base"?
    2. Can I buy a key FOB on Ebay, and have it programmed..I have seen on this site a way to program one, but don't remember if it was good for 2009.?
    3. Always heard about the "toyota tick", but now that I own one, is this normal?
    from what I could search on this site, it looks like and awesome site, welcoming, etc.

    1. No, it has the SR5 option package on it.
    2. Do you have an original fob?
    3. Its normal. All of my toyota's (with the exception of my supra turbo) have ticked. Not sure why.

    So what did I get? This truck has no fog lights, no intermittent wipers, no cruise. (All going to happen soon, thanks to this fine forum)..but the keyless thing has me stumped... I have power locks, but not keyless entry.
    I guess my question is mostly, Can I just buy the keyless FOB on Ebay for $30.00, or should I put in an entire aftermarket kit?
