    Hello,
I just ordered a 2014 TRD Off-road with a supercharger today. Hopefully it will be here next week then two days for the supercharger install. Can't wait for it! Please let me know if I need to know anything before I take ownership.

    Welcome to tw.......

U may want to invest in a wideband setup to watch your afr.... The reflash seems to be inconsistent and some of us run rich, some leaner.

I'd suggest also looking into an aftermarket clutch or a valve body upgrade from IPT depending on if u get more supporting mods for the supercharger and depending on ur transmission type.

Congrats on the SC. Did the dealer say it was 2014? I've been waiting for TRD to release the 2014 SC so i can install on my 2014 OR DCSB as well, but when I called TRD USA today they said it wasn't released yet.

Hope the dealer isn't using a 2013 ECU map (may not matter)

I don't know what map the dealer is using? I dropped it off today and it's supposed to be ready tomorrow afternoon. With the dealer doing the install it's covered under warranty so I'm not to worried. I've put 400 miles on the truck and I can't wait to see what the SC does to it.

I put a little over 400 miles before getting the supercharger put on and about 150 after. This thing is BAD!

What do you mean by bad? Details. More power, better mileage. Please explain.

I'll be honest I don't watch the gas mileage and with the supercharger I see tickets and bald back tires in my future. It's the power increase. It kicks on at 2000 RPMs and you feel the difference.

Its not fun scrubbing a thick layer of rubber off of the fender liners, exhaust, bumper, and the back portion of the fender.
i use goof off and a microfiber towel for the paint if its not too big an area, then wash that off right away. I didn't scrub that.

Use a stiff bristled brush with a handle and the goof off on the fender liners, exhaust, and bumper. We have a hand brush we use for carpet stains.... Wait, we USED TO use it for carpet stains. Its surface area is about the size of ur open palm. Works good. Let the goof off soak on anything without paint for a couple minutes, scrub and repeat.... Then wash truck and wax any painted area u touched with goof off.
I noticed no problems with the paint, but ya may wanna research that urself before using it.

As for power, Thats just a drop in the bucket..... Now ur hooked, head over to urdusa.com and put ur wallet and bank account on a diet.
Dont feel bad about shredding the stock tires, they are crap anyhow and usually last about 15k even if babied. They dry rot and the tread separates before they actually wear out.

Just remember, no speaking of racing here unless its on the track.

    Have fun

Also the gas mileage will NOT be effected any because of the blower..... It may be effected because of YOU AND YOUR FOOT :) .... But if driven normally, the mileage won't change. I still get the same 20mpg avg highway that I did before my performance upgrades.

Just make sure to run premium

    Jeremy,

Ive been following trd usa for 3 months. There is no 14 flash released yet. So they must have put the 12 or 13 flash on. I'm a nutshell, if the technicalities are found out, the warranty is voided as they improperly loaded flash on an unsupported year.
