You would be surprised the torque lost lol. I ran some street tires and put it on the dyno. I hope this tune we have going on in the forums can make it do better. Also mpg never have been considering how I drive but that said I want performance but not to the point of it costing us fuel like it's a v10 haha. I definitely want the most spunk. Just not aggressive tip cuz 4 low broke my neck almost with beta 2.0 performance (first tune I ran)

 

I mean i did a limp home of like 500 miles, 60mph 4th gear cuz i didnt wanna deal with taco's shiet lol and i got a solid 20 all around giver take. I think given all the decrease of performance ive put on her with the weight etc, the tune being so aggressive might be the right mix and gain me it all back. Ive never noticed a dramatic MPG difference. I get 8-25mpg lol. Winter and idling for 8 hours in 1 night. I will report on this though. I plan on doing a first drive youtube video just like when i did ovtune for the first time. Great way to compare. Even better if they only set me up with say 89 octane.

 

I was playing around. We appreciate you! Believe me when I say ALL feedback has been MUCH appreciated, and we probably take minor things a little more seriously than our drivers. Although that's probably a bit subjective depending on the driver and what they're reporting.

 

Octane learning tunes now run what ever octane you want . I run premium for the best affect . Few $$$ at the pump isn't a big deal to me . God honest truth my truck gets better fuel mileage doing 60mph with premium fuel. I'm almost seeing 22mpg. Fyi I don't have this tune yet but for all others premium fuel gave me best results all around

 

This is not a new thing. OL has been around since OV2.0, and I've seen the same results you're describing. My truck has always seemed to produce better fuel economy on 91. That being said, it is ill advised to run 87 on a premium tune as it will definitely produce knock from preignition. Can it be done in a pinch? Sure, but I certainly wouldn't run it hard and would be driving it pretty conservatively to the next fuel station. As a disclaimer I am on no way suggesting anyone try this.

 

Oh for sure yes if its a premium only tune yeah you have to run premium . I wasn't fully awake this morning typing prior. Lol

IKR? Even at 70mph i do alright but after that haha well i just plain old dgaffffffff. But yea how can i complain about getting the same MPG rating as stock tacomas with a premium tune file and only pretty much done to my truck lol. Snorkel and afe dry filter as well. No other boosters yet.

 

I thought you said 33’s, 6k lbs? I guess that armoire really adds up front and back. Is it 4wd?

 

yep she is with all the general items i keep in her with me and adding my weight as well. Front bumper alone is 200, sliders added 140 (i felt those real fast lol brake test) rear bumper added a bit but yea. She goes with a tune, but when im stock my god i would of gotten rid of my truck honestly with this setup haha. I want to get a tundra TB, hps intake tube and replace my afe air filter with a new one cuz thats 5 years old with 150k. Shes beat up bad lol.
