    If your elevation is high enough where the air is less dense, then 85 octane will absolutely be just fine.

    Little math for my area is 87 vs 91 is .30 cents. 20 gal fill up = $6.00 more for premium. Then fill up every week for a year is only $312 more per year.

    No 91 here, it's either 87, 89, or 93. The math for me is $.60 more a gallon, or $12 for a full tank. I've got about 300 miles on Nexus + premium and it looks like I'm averaging about 1.5 more miles per gallon. At $4 a gallon (Current price for 93 here, higher tomorrow, last station I saw with that price so I topped off) I can subtract $5.80 from $12 for a true cost difference between 87 and 93. Right now the satisfaction of driving Nexus + premium is worth $6.20 a fill up.
