    Another note is if I run anything less than premium in my truck is loses power to the point my commute is not enjoyable . I live at sea level so I definitely feel the full effect of any tune .

    The first 10,000 miles I used regular 87 octane . After that all 136k miles have been premium. Rare occasions I would test tunes on 87 regular to see differences in tunes

    Definitely will be looking forward to hear reviews from people who have switched from KD Max. Good competition makes me excited, but I don't wanna pay $xxx and have it feel/perform the same etc. (By no means am I saying one is better than the other or dissin either tune, just speaking from my wallets perspective!)

    I've been running 85 octane for 52k miles lol. I could never notice any different going up to 91.

    We've logged the difference between the octane learning increase and it does advance timing roughly 2* on nearly every tune we've run. Ours is closer to 3-4* every log.

    Very true . I don't expect a total transformation but to eliminate and random hardshifts and to get away from running too rich , and dead pedal

    Yeah, we've put a little more effort into ensuring these specific issues are non-existent. PERIOD! Zero dead pedal... ZERO! Anywhere! Not on hills, or in any load range. Delivery is smooth and consistent throughout the ENTIRE power band.

    Only have a few miles, but the Nexus standard is pretty cherry for me so far. Consistent power and better mpgs than the KDMAX tune for me. 3rd gear with TC lock and half lock is also better on the Nexus tune.
