Hey @Mooseditty17 got my Tacoma tuned with Premium+ Blackhawk tune in November and I love it! Big shout out to R4T in CO! I did have iddle ramps up and problems and my engine bogging down when I pressed the ECT button, once I replaced my CAI filter my issues went away.

 

Emailed through website a few days ago. Haven’t heard back yet but was looking for the latest update.

Do you guys have an authorized shop/location in Denver that installs your tune?

 

We do not at this time, unfortunately. You could check and see if @mZiggy has any within the YotaWorx crew, as we both offer the same tune.

They offer YotaWerx tunes, not Nexus.

In the case of the 3GTacoma NA, that's the Blackhawk tune.

 

To add on to what @mZiggy stated, the tunes you mentioned are no longer supported. With that, our (Nexus & YotaWerx) Blackhawk premium tune will be an excellent choice if you want a dedicated 91+ octane tune.

I’m just dropping by to leave a big ol’ fat two thumbs up for Blackhawk. I’ve been tuned for probably 70k miles on my 2018. Started with OVTune and probably went through 3 or more different tuners’ packages. Eventually landed on Blackhawk and have been happy for what seems like about a year with it. Others were progressively better, but this tune just works for my driving needs and is the best so far.

Here in Texas, highway speeds are 80+. The stock tune was just spastic. It wouldn’t even hold 6th on flats at that speed. Heaven forbid an overpass got in your way.

This past week I made two trips to Houston and back from DFW, and one to Beaumont. Forgiving the 16.5mpg at 80+, the truck ran super smooth. The trip would have been miserable on the stock tune. It held gear at speed, would drop one gear smoothly when passing, or two if I really needed the beans.

I did the Houston ship channel overpass in 5th at 75. Stock tune would have been in 3rd screaming like a wild banshee.

So, just waiting on the BH V2 to come out so I can get it with a more mild tip-in. I struggle a little bit with parking lot engaging. That’s my only struggle.
