I'm in Japan for a few weeks and spotted this little Datsun.

Judging by the side pipes in front of the rear wheel I'd say it's running a little rich.

Nice little truck on the inside; right hand drive, brown leather bucket seats, 4 speed manual and Momo wheel. I would drive the hell out of it as a daily if I had something similar stateside.

Seeing that makes me miss the mini truck craze of the 80s more than I realized.

Cool truck. I have a particular weakness for 70's datsuns, couriors, and luvs. Had a 76 chevy luv back in the day, thing was awesomely simple.

Yep, those 70s and early 80s trucks have a cool little look about them.

My very first truck was an 86 toyota with a japanese bed similar to the Datsun. Great times back in San Diego with that little truck. It was very reliable but the bed would start rusting just by looking at it.

Didnt dissuade me from japanese trucks though, I love them.
