Freakin A-holes. That's not hunting, that's murder. You have zero skills when using night vision goggles to hunt an animal that's eating grass. be a real hunter, use tracking techniques, and use the meat for food. Night vision is used to kill ahole terrorists who deserve it.

^^Have you ever seen what wild hogs do to a farm or any type of agricultural property? They're the terrorist of the animal kingdom. They'll flat out DESTROY some land, to the point that it's almost unusable as anything but a hog wallow. In AL they're considered to be a nuisance animal, and you can kill them however and whenever you want as far as I know.

X2 also considering they reproduce year round and they have no natural predators.

    And to add...................they taste delicious!!!

i prefer bowhunting them. but i do see the need for the occasional pig fumigation. they lay waste to whatever land they call home.

i have seen them taken from helicopters to keep numbers down. if i had land, and a pig population problem, i would let my friend have free reign..with archery gear. i hang with a deadly bunch. i have a friend that takes them off of a state park (with written permission from ranger) with a crossbow, and a tactical light. i went once, like an idiot with a bow. it was unnerving in the dark, surrounded by pigs. my bow was useless.

Is there a magazine capacity limit for hog hunting? Sounds like a perfect application for an AR10.

I eat everything I shoot. I also bow hunt. Most farmers let you hunt for free since it helps them more than anything since the animals do so much damage to everything. The south is pretty much flooded with them. Maybe have more knowledge next time so you don't look like a jack ass. kthnx

Ferel hogs are becoming a SERIOUS problem around me here in the Midwest. The MO department of conservation says shoot all ferel hogs on site, regardless of time of day. And there is no limit on them. Ferel hogs will destroy property and crops. Not to mention they can kill you very easily if you get near them. So if you see ferel hogs, Shoot them.

And if you have never looked through a set of good night vision goggles, you will be amazed. My uncle has a set of generation 3, coolest toy I have ever seen. The only way to describe looking through night vision is like in the movie Step Brothers, " HOLY SANTA CLAUSE SHIT!"
