    Unless you are going Gen3 or greater don't bother. Expect to pay upwards of $5K on the low end for a complete system. That includes mounts IR laser's, IR illuminators and optics that will work with the system.

    There is tranining now avail able from http://www.tnvc.com/ on to actually use NV devices correctly.

    well im not looking to shoot 300 yards with it maybe out to 75 its for a hog gun

    Hits on moving targets is hard enough. With NV gear everything is a little harder and heavier.

    Check out the site I posted. I bought a cheapish $500 Gen 1 or 2 fixed 4 power NV scope made by ATN. Not worth the money. Clarity was bad, bloom from the rifle washed out any hope of follow up shots. If I had a suppressor at the time it would have been less of course. There is a model called the D200 or D300 that you may want to look at.

    don’t have one. can’t use one or electric came calls in TN. me and dad have thought about getting the permits for damage control tho. like hogs and stuff.
