lame camera. I hate these point shoot friendly SLR's with big mega pixels that no one ever needs, and HD video?

d90 is a solid camera. Although the newer model should be out in a few months... possibly the D8000?

I got the Nikon d3100 and it performs awesome I am not a pro and for the price point you get a camera that takes better pictures then a simply point and shoot camera with the option of using different lenses.
