I pre-ordered one with the Master Set of the new Zelda game. My wife has been waiting for this game to be released so I went ahead and bought everything as a surprise. It should be here on 3/3. She'll be excited.

gamestop lied to me and said i got the master edition and turns out they didnt get any at all. ended up w/ just the special. wanted the master sword statue. theyll hopefully make a run of those after its come out like they did w/ the skull kid statue after MM3DS dropped.

the receipt was all fucked up and only showing SKU numbers and all the prices were 999.99.

The Gamecube was Nintendo's last attempt at the traditional console gamer. Now they've moved on to trying to provide a unique physical experience with every generation because they don't see value in competing with the other consoles.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
It's going to be a pass for me. I'm still pretty happy with my Wii.

I'm unclear on where you're getting your information from. Nintendo artificially limited stock to create hype on the WiiU and the NES Classic after they saw what a runaway success the Wii was- there weren't WiiU's 'stuck in inventory' anywhere until years after launch. The Nintendo executives have also promised that they will not have supply issues at launch of the Switch (although I don't believe that) due to the massive backlash on them after the NES Classic fiasco

Nice, with THAT said and graphics are noticeably better than the Wii U then my statement would be reversed. I still don't plan on playing games on the go but I do appreciate good graphics for any console over $250.

nintendo also came out and said they were planning a VR, but wanted to make it to where you could physically use it for a longer period of time.

they could easily make the main hardware last longer by selling an upgraded base for it. better booster specs in the base and keep the handheld only the same.

Hmmm I simply remember not having an issue finding a WiiU locally at launch. After a year in Canada they were still everywhere with relatively little support compared to the Wii. The rest I'm not sure what you're mad about. Nintendo does like to short things to create demand. People want what they can have especially if the limited group that has one likes what they have a lot.

Any concern that the booster graphics are going to be a pain for ported games? Kind of seems like the PC problem where stock low price laptops never seem to have enough jam to run the newest or best looking games.

BTW Nintendo has only released speculation on the graphics as far as IRL testing is concerned they haven't shown anything definitive. The numbers they've thrown out are impressive but this is the first console implementation of ARM architecture and boosted graphics. I'm interested to see how this turns out.

Maybe it was different in Canada but in US they were nearly impossible to find. I'm not 'mad', just remarking that what you're saying is contrary to well documented industry statistics about the WiiU supply and the promise by Nintendo to not have shortages on the Switch.

Different areas very realistically may have experienced different supply

Yeah, time will tell. It's also a bit misleading when you can't tell either what demand is really like. When the Wii came out I don't think anyone thought demand would skyrocket like it did.

I'd think when removing from the dock, it simply scales back the preset settings. they'll probably have a setting for the 2 modes and automatically "switch" between the two.

They've specified the chipset they customized for the build. Either way, I'm sure I'll be happier with the switch than the U, plus playing at home and on travel will be boss. Even better when Skyrim comes out for it. I already own a copy for PC and XB1, why not switch too.

Remember the N64 booster memory pack? I hope the system doesn't scale that far back. Some games were barely playable without the red expansion.

I'll wait a month after it releases. Want to be sure it's worth the purchase, or i can use that money towards my Tacoma.
