Nitrogen in the tires?

    I use helium in my tires to decrease the weight of the truck. My gas mileage went up almost 10 mpg because the truck only weighs 1900 lbs now.

    Yeah but is was worth the tire savings I got on my tires. Costco paid $800 for 4 BFGoodrich Gforce 265/50/20. Goodyear wanted $1300. I get my tires balanced & rotated every 7,000 miles at Costco for free. Plus all the nails I have picked up :eek:; free road hazard. So it is worth the gas to make the drive to Costco.

    thats funny.............actually SKUNKWORKS TRIED PUTTING HELIUM IN THE TIRES OF THE SR-71 TO MAKE IT LIGHTER

    Didnt work, the gas is too light and escaped
