    Hey guys.

I'm new here and just popping in to say hello and some other things. I don't mean to unnecessarily populate the message board, but I'm just reaching out on several avenues to make some connections.

    Either way...

This may be a little last minute but is anyone out there in CNJ or SNJ down for a quick day in Wharton for some Piney trails?

Long story short, I review cars for my company and I have a pretty neat and brand new '14 Tacoma Limited I'm testing for a week, and I'd like to put it in its element a little more instead of just driving it around town. I unfortunately return the car Thursday but I'd like to get some trail time in as well as some photos for my editorial.

It is also unfortunately limited to all but the muddiest and loosest of surfaces due to road tires, so I wouldn't be looking to go too crazy. But being a taco, I know you can go a decent amount of places with it without too much trouble.

But since I heard the Pineys can be unpredictable (especially with this rain we just had), I'd like to have someone join me in a little caravan for some support and direction. Plus whoever comes will get to have a fun day out and I have no problem including whoever in my editorial/taking some shots of whoever comes out with my cam.

I'll be getting cars throughout the year so there will be chances that I could get 4x4-capable cars and would like to make some new friends!

So if anyone's interested, reply here or PM me and I'd like to rendezvous!

    Hope to see some interest!

    Thanks!

I can't make it, but you should not go alone. The puddles can be very unexpectedly deep and I have seen them sink a truck on 38" boggers. Avoid them and the mud which can be greasy and you can get stuck very easily. Be careful.

That would be ok? I know some boards are iffy about multiple posts of the same content, wouldn't want to get the "insta-ban" stick right off the bat :p

Just pop in and say hello and what your looking to do. No worry about a ban. It's all good. I don't know of anyone wheeling during the weekdays, but you never know.

Thanks guys, will definitely give that a try :).

That sucks man, sorry to hear. I was sort of in a similar situation a few years ago with a friend's truck--was riding shotgun during the winter months and fell through an iced-over puddle, rupturing the steering rack and draining all the PS fluid.

Needless to say, the 3 mile trek back to the main road wasn't a fun one. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Tried posting in that NJ thread, but I keep getting an SQL error...anyone else getting that? Could it be because I'm a newbie? Tried deleting my cache and restarting the browser/pc, and nada.
