    I'm thoroughly convinced that since my truck is so long it needs more lift and bigger tires to make it look right. However I'm desperately trying not to buy another set of tires (with money that should go to 1000 other things first) when I already have 10 perfectly good tires.

    That being said.. I'm starting to think I should sell my Duratracs.

    If anyone is looking for some 265/70/17s with at least 20-30k miles left on them, let me know. heres a pic of them on my 17" sport wheels (painted black).

    Do you really need to regear to run 35s properly?

    I thought it just took some cutting and smashing and 35s we're plug and play. And we're taking 35s on a 3" lift right?

    I would say yes cause with 33's I notice that I lost power not a lot but it's noticeable

    yep. you can drive it without regearing, but its gonna be shitty.

    regearing will get it back to stock-ish rpms and mpgs, and acceleration.

    You can run 35's on the stock 3.73 gearing for a while but you are asking for problems. I know someone who cooked his trans that should have regeared.
    I'm on 4.56 now.
    And yes - there is cutting involved. But I'm not even lifted 3"
    All I have are Josh's old billies set at 2.25 in the front and a Wheelers AAL in the rear. ;)
