Have a sig and I love it.. and want a CZ 75 but wouldn't catch me with a Glock in a billion years. Over hyped IMO. Love my Springfield, great gun.. 10 years never any issues

I live in Missouri so they don't give an F but Illinois does but I rarely venture over there.. Mainly because it's the dumpster fire of all the states.

CZ's are awesome! Love my 75, just waiting to get it back from CGW. Glock is Glock. Nothing new or innovative since they really first came out. But you can't deny they are reliable. I'm hoping to get more into SIGs here once all the craziness chills out, mainly want a FLUX Raider.

Just to add to the quality list... Walther, Smith and Wesson, Beretta, H&K, FN.

As for the Springfields, you do you boo boo.

I suggest using a magnet or seat-mounted holster if you’re in the truck a while. Wear a holster on you and use it when you exit the truck. I promise you that you can access the weapon faster with less tell-tale movement from a magnet or seat mount that you can keeping it on you, especially if you are wearing a seatbelt. It also allows you to index the weapon with either hand.

Cali here. When I carry, it’s on me. If I can’t take it in somewhere it’s in a steel lock box behind the back seats.

Personally, IMO, there’s no reason a firearm should be off body, whether walking or when you’re in the vehicle. If it’s comfort, find a different holster.

I’ve been around guns WAY before Toyota even made a decent truck.

The problem I see with keeping it off body, is you have to holster when you get out of the truck. If someone happens to see you do that you could be inviting problems.
Having said that, I’m for a magnet. I haven’t found a carry position that’s comfortable enough for a long drive and easy enough to draw from while seatbelted in.

I've done 20hr drives carrying in Appendix. Find a holster and practice carrying between 12 and 3. I also like NexBelt because can let tension out in car and easily tighten before getting out.

    Have zero issues.

I use a Velcro holster attached to the carpet beside my right leg. Its a super simple and solid mounting solution.

Unless you are going into a post office, school, water treatment plant, or any of the places the people I know who carry go often.

correct. But I rarely frequent those places. That’s what the lock box behind the back seats is for.
