I just gotta say, I love my Honda TRX450. But it seems everyone here is running a Yamaha or some other quad...

Hell, if you're out there having fun, who cares what you're on!! :D

I use to have a honda recon and rancher and LOVED them but needed a sport. I got the Suzuki 400 because it suited my needs and budget. I love it but I still LOVE the Honda's maybe some day I will have one again.:)

I really dont have anything against Hondas, I just hate the attitude by so many people that anything Honda is the best there is.
I used to work with a couple guys who had Honda 450Rs and they told me all the time how badass their Hondas were, yet they ate my Yamaha YFZ 450's dust every time at the track (their Hondas has bigbore kits and full aftermarket race exhaust and long-travel suspensions and you name it vs my '06 YFZ 450 that just had a jet kit and an Yoshimura muffler) and it seemed like something was always broke on their Hondas.
Ive ridden a few Honda utility ATVs and they are soooooooooooooo gutless. Absolutely no power!
Im not going to sit here and tell you guys that Honda sucks, but I dont see myself owning one.
I'll stick with Yamaha. They make great stuff and they have been a partner with Toyota since the '60s. Toyota owns part of Yamaha and the 2 companies have been working together since the '60s. Yamaha helped out with development on the engine and suspension of the Celica GT-S, Matrix XRS and Corolla XRS and they have had a hand in developing Toyota's engine technology.

 Nope! The no suspension thing kinda has me not willing to jump it off anything over a foot high ;). But it does wheelie very well :D.

I still have a 400ex. I also bought a Raptor 700. I had my Honda since 2002, and its very tired. I gave it to my brother, who is going to have it rebuilt.

I always had Honda's, but the Raptor is just better.

2005 Honda TRX-Sport 400 (Yellow) Got it instead of 450 because wanted reverse for cruising and when wife rides it. My buddy has an 05 Suzuki 400 and we pace each other. I plan on stepping to an Enduro soon for adventure riding, but the TRX will be here as well for a long time.

Honda seems to dominate when it comes to desert racing, even they're over weight 700XX. We had a couple of Rhinos and they were nothing more than a bunch of bad designs and poor attension detail.

From what I've heard the Yamaha 450 is supossed to have a much faster motor than the Honda's, but the Hondas handle better(maybe because less power?).

Dirt Wheels is pro Yahama. Every time another manufacture come out with a new bike, they say it's ok ,but not as good as the Yamaha.

Yamaha has better engine but Honda has way better suspension, brakes, body, weight, etc.. I love my TRX 450r and I will never buy anything else. Unless Toyota made dirt bike/quad lol :D
