Bought my truck off the lot. Well leased cause I was a little weary about buying the first year.

I don't have mud flaps on my 96. I took them off for the optical illusion of looking higher off the ground. :D #2wdproblems
My buddy's dog ate most of one of my flaps off a long time ago, not that I wanted them on it anyways.

To someone who has seen the plasticolor ones in person... Are they black or grey? How would they match the OR fender flares?

Will do. Gonna take a look at them when they get here and decide if I want to order the 4wd ones. One or the other may be up for sale if I end up with both. May try to mix and match depending on how the color looks.

I'm comparing them to the ones they are on top of in the chair. They don't look *as* black as the factory ones. I didn't know if it was just a difference in gloss/lighting or color. Thanks

Definitely black. The pictures don't seem to be showing the color well.

Went ahead and ordered the 4wd flaps too. Hopefully they make it here by the estimated date of next Tuesday since I'll be gone a few days for Thanksgiving so I can install then. @apexal- you mentioned you only used the existing mounting points (2 on the front, 3 on the back) with no extra washer or anything? Wondering just how sturdy it'll be with just the screws especially with the bigger flap.
