I heard about a kid from Michigan in his late teens or early twenties who said some stuff online about a local towing company after his car got towed, and got sued by the towing the company.

I forget what the outcome was, but I think that when your business is taking peoples’ cars, being nuked online comes with the territory.

This happened to me in my (now ex) wife's VW. The dealership didn't tighten the drain plug and it backed out while driving down the highway. They rebuilt the engine and gave me a 100k warranty (60k was standard). That came in real handy when the high pressure fuel pump grenaded and took out the entire fuel system a year later. TDI POS.

And then fairly recently the NYPD got upset at the WAYS app for showing the exact location of their DUI checkpoints...

Yeah just look at any Yelp review! lol or just Google any company out there.. doesn't matter... Apple, Microsoft, Best Buy, Toyota, Ford... they all get raked over the coals by people. The interwebs were created for (in order) Porn, Cat videos, people complaining....

Wasn't that ruled as protected by Freedom of Speech? Or am I thinking of a different PD that took them to court?

I do believe it was ruled am to be freedom of speech; I use the interweb to warn friends and relatives about DUI checkpoints all time.

I don’t drive drunk, I think DUI checkpoints violate the 4th and 5th amendments, and I feel no shame for warning people about them!

One time one of my coworkers was cornered during lunch and sorta forced to watch cat videos by another coworker...

I honestly don’t think I should have to deal with police unless I’m actually suspected of a crime...

The one who forced the videos on the other coworker, so I’m guessing the catter...

Very much so. So much so I drove over a median when a cop was blocking my departure in a parking lot because he pulled someone else over. He was not very happy.

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
I would demand a 125k, $00.00 deductible, Platinum Warranty from Toyota.

I don't know how 6 quarts could leak out that fast without the driver noticing it. o_O
