    Hey folks,

I have a double cab, but there aren't any weld-nuts under the rubber stripping on the roof. (Anybody else have this issue?) It looks as though someone down the line took them off and welded on just a little rectangular piece of metal where they were.

    So here's my predicament:

I want a safari rack. Something to put a shovel and mount my spare and all that good rot. Not to mention some lights. :p

Without the weldnuts, me not wanting to drill into the roof, or pay big $$$ for a thule or yakima to mount the homemade conduit-based rack...

Shoot me some thoughts, some of your suggestions, that would help solve my problem.

    Thanks in advance!

Also, I realize there has been a LOT of talk about this stuff. But everybody but me has weld-nuts apparently.
