    A friend of mine clued me in on this, and I think it is an invaluable tool for the winter wheeler

    NOAA Interactive Snow Information Map

    1. Type in your coordinates or simply draw a rectangle to zoom to your area of interest
    2. Select the date
    3. Press "Redraw Map"

    The link above is currently showing Tillamook State Forest OHV.
    All the little labels are the weather reporting stations (see the Point Features to toggle these)

    Updated map link. They changed navigation slightly to be more cumbersome, but it's still the same use.
