OK ,I am new here and new to the Taco world , I have had my 08' for about a month now and have a question.

When my truck has been parked and I start it and put it in drive & start to go , I hear a wierd noise, almost like a a/c kicking on or something eventhough everything is off.

It only does it after I start the truck and start to go, otherwise it never does it.......is this a normal sound ?

I would say it's your a/c- heater duct. There are several vacuum operated doors that direct the airflow. When the truck is off for a while the vacuum bleeds off and the doors might open a little. After you start the truck the vacuum builds and the doors slam shut. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't make a special trip to the dealer over it, but the next time you go in for service I would tell them about it. They may be able to replace a vacuum hose and solve the problem.
