When I have my fan on in the truck (heat, ac or vent) I can hear a clicky kinda sound. As soon as I turn the fan off, it goes away.

I went to the stealership but they want to sell me the whole fan assembly and housing for $160!

Anyone know where I can get just the bearing or maybe just the fan blade with bearing if it's not available seperately?

    Thanks!

I have this same issue. Did it turn out to be the fan or the bearing? Did you find a installation guide somewhere?

If it's worth a little extra effort/time on top of taking the fan out yourself anyway, there's a very good chance you can remedy the sound yourself with some grease. I don't think they came sufficiently greased from the factory.

Mines is also making a weird sound also...does it also sound like a low thumping sound?

It gets louder when I turn on the blower motor...and gets low when I turn it off...but it's not coming from the inside of the car, its coming from the engine bay

I havent bought the part yet, but you're right, it may be worth taking it apart and shooting it with some lithium grease, or equivalent.

that be fo 2nd gen, OP is 1st gen.

My blower doesn't click, thump, rattle, but it does chirp like a cricket intermittently...very annoying. Probably going to tear it apart and clean/grease it. I'll post a thread if I do.
