SO it was freezing rain outside this morning and I was driving on an unfamiliar road (some people may already know where this is going). My baby was riding nice and I hadnt even put in the 4 wheel drive yet I was just getting a feel for the roads, a traffic circle came up and I was going around it nicely until this JERK decided it would be ok to pull in front of me, well I just had to turn and brake a little bit when I felt my wheels slip from under me, I started going towards the curb and hit it broadside. Both my tires popped from the force and probably the cold didnt help either. I continued to slide into a TELEPHONE POLE and that cracked my front rim and damaged my brand new bilstein 5100's not to mention my k&n intake and my wheel well and my suspension. AHHHH I got it towed to my fav. bodyshop and they are hooking me up with a deal to get all my modded parts again but its still gonna run me about 4000 dollars. so im starting the fund: "Give Khaos Some Money!" haha im joking i can handle it its just something no one wants to spend money on, I wish i couldve taken pics but it would have probably just made everyone cry :.(.. Ill post some pics up after she gets all fixed up and show you guys the results, they hooked me up with this mazda 6 right now and its ok but its just not me, im a tacoma guy through and through. :(

Sorry to hear. Wouldn't your collision insurance cover it (if you have it)?

Been there and done that. It sucks and it seems to take forever to get your truck back. I was never the same either. Hopefully your shop will do it right.

that guy that cut you off...isn't he responsible for the incident??? and yea what about insurance...ur premium should not go up since it was due to weather and it would then only cost you $500 (or whatever your deductable is)

Damn, you should have just hit the guy who cut you off... Then at least his insurance would pay for it, and not yours.

Okkine has a good point. However, my daughter was hit by a rental car (dirt paved rental car lot on "wrong side of town", what does that tell ya....), which turned left into her lane driven by an out of state individual with a revoked driver's license. The insurance company for the rental car company is refusing to pay claiming "your daughter should have stopped". Headline: Fly By Night Rental Car Company rents car to Fly By Night Revoked Driver insured by Fly By Night Insurer. They can't even find the &*&T@#(&*@ driver to get a statement from him. I hate these people.

My thoughts entirely - screw trying to avoid him. If he causes the accident then let him be involved in it!

Glad U-R ok. What about insurance coverage on your truck? $4,000.00 is alot out of pocket. Hope you did not have minimum coverage on your truck.

Glad to hear you are ok and sorry to hear about the truck. :( If you didn't already have full coverage it sounds like a good time to step it up a notch so you never have to worry again.
