I got a message from Justin less than a week ago regarding the boxes. Prices seem high but I need to clarify if they're reflecting a 'group buy' discount.

I'll call him this week to clarify group buy pricing as well as ask him about the free box sirsaechao.

I got another message from Justin today. He's saying he's focused on these boxes this week... we'll see what kind of feedback we get.

Here's what I've got so far (STANDARD PRICING):
    1995-2000 models
    8"($300)
    10"($325)

    1995-2004 models
    10"($400)
    12"($450)

The group buy would give us $50 off each box (~10% to 17% off) but I'm not sure if he's firm on this. The rest of the details on shipping costs and method still need to be worked out. I will post a formal group buy once all pricing is finalized. STAY TUNED!

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
He has been having trouble finding a tan carpet that isn't so plush...that is prolly why my box is taking forever...unless he is pulling my legs...last text I got was him saying he will give me a grey carpetted box and swap it out when he can get some tan ones. Iono...we will see on Thursday when he comes through.

I think we're gonna need a lot more of a discount than that to get any interest here...

Trust me, I agree... I'll be talking to him soon regarding firm pricing. You also have to keep in mind that we've all been looking for a solution other than the JL audio stealthbox that costs $600 + taxes.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

    Man that's a little steep.

I don't think your going to have many orders at that price.

If I were doing it my prices would be.
And I would do a down firing box like the JL box

1995-2004 models seeing how i have an 02
    10"($250)
    12"($300)

Now i don't know if that's still to high for most of the guys on TW but I know what it costs to build a box and I think that's a reasonable price.

Hell I'll build boxes for you guys if your really interested at the price above.
and If i get 10 or people ordering I'll take $50 bucks off

PM me if this guy don't go down on his price.

here's the new pricing WITH GROUP BUY. take an additional $75 off if you don't want carpet. the unfinished product will be good enough for carpet or spray-on bed liner. it will NOT be ready for paint or vinyl... it will require additional work.

    1995-2000 models
    8": $200 ($125 unfinished)
    10": $225 ($150 unfinished)

    1995-2004 models
    10": $300 ($225 unfinished)
    12": $350 ($275 unfinished)

Dam 225 for unfinished! meaning exposed screws/nails sanded with 50 grit at most.
maybe $225 sprayed with under coat paint.

So he's pretty much saying he will slap a few pieces of MDF and a little fiber glass together for 225 on the 10"?

Knowing the cost and time it takes to build a simple box like this i think it's still a little over priced. Especially not wrapped!

I still think $250 for the 10" finished and $300 for the 12" finished is more reasonable.

And $175 with a rattle can bed liner for the 10" & $225 for the 12"

This guy need to realize that to get orders form the guys on this site the product need to be priced well. especially if he is going to be getting multiple orders. Hell if he prices it right he will make more money in the long run.

JLee... I'd really like to see a sample of your box before we all make the assumption that you can meet those prices. I'm not doubting but honestly, WE JUST WANT A SOLUTION!

Guys, Justin's prices still stand at the following prices. Consider that the two rear seats are still functional and that this is a box that he has already built and tested. Compared to the only other box on the market (JL Stealthbox) these prices are a steal. JLee... show us an actual box sample and of course we'll bite.

Anyone interested in these at all? I'd like to get one of these ASAP. PM me and I'll get an 'interest' list started.

    1995-2000 models
    8": $200
    10": $225

    1995-2004 models
    10": $300
    12": $350

Exactly... Justin is a professional who does this for a living. Don't forget that it comes with a 1-year warranty from a reputable shop. Here's a link to his website: http://www.just-installs.com/Photo-Gallery.html

Also, once we get a group buy going, he will ship the same day it's ordered because he'll have the boxes already made.

Let's get this 'interested' list going!!! PM me or respond here
