I didnt see one of these so i figured i would start one. Who in norcal has CB or HAM or both and what channel/frequency are you normally on?

    I have both
Usually on 19 or 20 on the CB
Generally anything in 2M or 70CM for HAM

Anybody install a NMO mount in the roof of their 2ng Gen truck? I'm looking to install a 1/4 wave antenna until I can afford another dual band rig.

When you did yours, did you completely remove the headliner? I am trying not to have to do that. I really need a picture of the inside of the roof to make sure I put the antenna in the right spot.

Can't go wrong with a Firestik II or a Wilson Flex. I have used both and no issue with either.

I didn't remove it, but I did pull a corner of it down so I could find a good spot to drill and then secure the cable.
