    Sure thing, but I just used like six zip ties to hold the bracket to the bottom of my seat. Just make sure you run clean power directly to the battery and you should be good. I'm using a Kenwood TM-V71A. Left side on 146.460mhz Simplex for the chats and Right side on 144.390mhz for APRS Beacon.
