I'm here now. The 9th Circus isn't as bad as it once was. There's still a chance this law is overturned.

Don't hold your breath. We're still waiting for the other dumb law to be heard/overturned. The one that limits magazine capacity and adds all kind of other nonsense (fins, pins, etc...).

Thought you were referring to pinned and/or epoxied 10/30s.

I visited Panoche and Tumey Hills before 4/15 and shot about 600 rds so far. Are there any other BLM spots near NorCal that’s open to target shooting year round?

wow, dang. a PSA upper, aero lower, and a PSA LPK would've been my choice.

    $359.99 https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa...eight-m-lok-upper-with-bcg-ch-5165450023.html
    $169.99 https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-str-lower-build-kit-black.html
    $71.99 https://www.primaryarms.com/aero-precision-stripped-lower-receiver-ar15-gen-2
    $399.99 https://www.primaryarms.com/pa-1-6x...ifle-scope-with-acss-raptor-556-reticle-black
    $139.95 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Magpul-MBU...ts-MAG247-or-MAG248-Flip-Up-BUIS/113788230876

    $1,141.91 before tax/shipping/dros fees

    (tax assuming 9.25% $105.63)
    (shipping assuming assholes $75)
    (dross assuming chill $65)

Then you can still have money leftover for gucci parts like JP Enterprises Silent Capture buffer, JP Comp, maglock, featureless grip, laser boresight, tools, etc.

This one is actually for my railed Kimber, took advantage of their overstock sale (25% off) to try them out. I loved my Milt Sparks VM2 IWB, hid a 1911 very well. Trying this one out, if I love the holster I’ll get another for CCW and I’ll be for sure getting a new dedicated carry pistol. Once I get that, I may try some appendix setups.

I’m a dyed in the wool 45 ACP fan but considering 9mm for CCW. Unsure yet, hoping to get my hands on some stuff after all this stuff dies down and gun stores aren’t so slammed. Really interested in a carry setup and possibly getting an AR. Never held one before, so assuming I don’t hate it when I do.. I’ll try one.

Yeah, in terms of ARs, they cover a *huuuuuuuuuuge* range of usecases. You can go w/ gucci parts like chrome lined or stainless match barrels and run sub MOA with match ammo. Or you can go 14.5" w/ a nitride pinned/welded muzzle device and easily stay within 2 MOA w/ M193 or M855A1. It comes down to engagement distances and purpose. I think the best part has to deal w/ the platforms endless configurability.

I have a build in mind.. want a little trigger time before I commit.

Crossbreed holster is nice, workmanship is fantastic.

Man, if I were able to do things all over again, I'd have gone w/ diy build first. But yeah, since my first AR, I've learned a lot. Everything I learned was from actually using it and then trying to swap out parts for more interesting stuff. you're gonna have fun time dood.

I might not. Only owned one 9mm and it was a range beater that I didn’t hardly shoot.

We’ll see once inventory returns to local gun stores.
