Hope that was after the storms

 

Getting some pow turns in tomorrow and Monday and next Wednesday. Taking a friend who doesn’t have epic to one of the mountains tomorrow gonna use a buddy pass. Northstar or heavenly hmmm. I think heavenly cus it’s a “cooler” resort but kinda worried about wind not opening enough terrain.

Monday will be a toss up for me again. Wednesday I’m thinking kirkwood once the storms done and wind settles down. Learned that battle once before trying to go on a day it was stormy. 2 chairs opened the whole day :/

If I can get some more work off my desk this evening I'm planning on heading to Rose tomorrow...the forecast is promising with gusts dropping down to 25mph.

Supposed to get back out Sunday with my son but weather doesn't look promising. He's gonna be dishing all his 7yr old rage because we haven't been out this month. I'll pull him from school to ski one day next week if we can't get out on Sunday.

Took a group of new-ish instructors int solitude canyon today. They never seen snow that deep.

 

I truly hope you guys enjoy this epic ski season. Somebody might as well cuz it just screwed my early start to alpine climbing season. lol

 

Well I wanted to go ride. But having to be back in reno by 3:00 means not today. So annoying.

 

Enjoying the riding for sure. As for working on truck stuff not so much my parts truck is one with the yard now.

I messed up this season and didn’t get a pass. Of course it ends up being a season of record breaking snow! I ended up getting the Ikon Pass for next season so I can enjoy the spring riding. Took a solo day trip up to Palisades and had a blast. morning was a bit icy but a lot softened up nicely by noon.

Gonna try to make it to Mammoth in a week or 2.

 

I'd say you played it pretty well. You're getting a full season's worth of time now and next season as well. Everyone who had a pass this year still has to pay for next. You essentially got a buy one, get one free.

 

Watch out for monkeys when you're out there harvesting spring corn

Can it be winter again yet?

 

I feel like It's going to be back with vengeance next season. This El niño building up is already pretty strong. Get your snowblower ready.

 

Exact replica of last season works for me. Manage 25 powder days while working 30 a week and doing full time school and I’ll be proud of myself again

 

Poking the bear, anybody gone up yet? Itching but the various mountain cams aren't promising.
