Would you guys recommend switching from a 13" 650lb coil to a 14" 600lb coil on my Icon coilovers? I won't have an aftermarket bumper for while and a winch even longer.

I believe it mainly helps with how much preload you have to set. If you're running out of room to turn the collar for your lift, running the bigger coil will help with that since you will have to crank the collar down less for the same lift. I was talking to this guy about that since he got the 14" coil. As for stepping down weight, I don't know.

I looked at both threads and the only option I saw that I likes was monkeyproof or something cut into the rear cup holder and mounted it there. I think he modified his console though to cover it or something.

Did you end up getting the uniden 520xl? If so, that unit is relatively small and can fit in a lot of different places

No it's a uniden but a different model. I got it because it had the weather channels on it as well that I wanted.

You paid too much... did you have the upper secured tight in a vice block? Maybe they used Locktite when they put it together?

    ...too much shit to list.
Take it up with ADCO Firearms.
He's the one who cut, crowned, rethreaded and pinned the flashhider for me...and then assembled it all back together.
