Of course that guy was bound to break something the way he was driving on the other obstacles. After trying to go up the stair case I now know I should hurry up and put my skid plates on. sitting on rocks isn't fun.

 

Anyone want to trade their DCSB 4x4 taco for my runner? I'm realizing i really need a truck. Basically I would be buying yours for a reasonable price and you would be buying mine. I'm not going to pay more than $18K. Yours can be bone stock with high miles as long as its in decent condition. 77K miles on my 03 Runner with plenty of mods. Willing to let mine go on my side for $15K

Cause I'm a dumbass and keep thinking I can manage with something other than what i really need. I have so many projects with the house and such and no fucking truck to haul lumber and pick stuff up. I really need a truck. If i cant find a Taco Trade. it might be going for a 2nd gen tundy next year. I have zero time for wheeling these days anyways with the baby and all.

 

I would just purchase any cheap pickup for under 5k. If it's going to be a work truck, you probably don't need 4x4 or a double cab.

Regular Cab + 2x4 makes it easy to maneuver, easy to park, and cheap on gas.

Plus, baby seats fit easier in the 4runner.

 

I dont have room for a dedicated work truck or i would just buy a small utility trailer.

I've pretty much come to grips with the fact that my wheeling days are over until my son is quite a bit older and that i need something more utilitarian.
