    It's caused by the weight of the snow on the smaller flexible tube that goes from the tank to the regulator (standing next to the tank). The pressure it puts on it causes it to leak at the fittings. The propane then sinks under the snow and travels (as you noted). Why they don't build a metal cover a foot or two wide that just goes over the tank where that line is to protect it from the weight of the snow, I don't know. That would make just too much sense!

    Well, go back to Auburn...problem solved!:D

    Wife let me a VM about the snow down to Apple Hill (2500 ft elev). I think Grass Valley is at 2600 IIRC from living over there (Alta Sierra's at 2K, Lake of the Pines at 1500...spent most of my years living there).

    And the dogwoods haven't bloomed in Pollock, so we'll get more snow. Count on it! I just hope it isn't snowing on May 1.
