Did you break something or just upgrades? Have you been following this thread - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...pe-for-2nd-gen-tacoma-t4r-fj-cruisers.578228/ ? This looks like something just up your alley for those 200 mph dune runs. there's also some chit chat about porting lower intake manifolds which sounds lie a good thing to do if the S/C is ever sent out for tune up or service.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
If this is a serious question. My hands go nimb driving fairly often. Seems like it's gotten worse over the last few years.

My left I feel pretty good about because I had tons of surgery on left shoulder where the nerves come through. My right goes numb a lot. I have to shake them both several times an hour to keep good feeling.

Alright I don’t feel so bad now. It used to be only when I used chop sticks. Quit using those something around 15 years ago. But now if I drive for a long enough period my right hand starts acting up. It’s not bone crippling or anything but it is getting annoying. 30 now so I have a feeling I’ll be left handed by the time I’m 40.

I've been dealing with it for about 8 years now. (I'm 43) It's been getting worse in the sense that I think it happens more often, not that the numbness is worse. Normally I can still just shake it out and it'll be better for a while, then I have to shake it out again.

So I’ve changed the way I drive after talking to a coworker who took professional lessons for driving with CalFire.

    upload_2018-12-23_18-13-55.jpg

I hold my hands here and rest my elbow on my legs (I’m 6’3” though).

I also put the back of my seat as straight up as it can go. That way my shoulders and back are over my hips.

I went from barely driving an hour with a lot of back pain to driving almost 13 hours this last summer and only dealing with a numb leg (haven’t figured that out).

Takes a little while to get used to but we’ll worth the effort IMO.

I second this hand position for long drives. Also the seat position, for all times.

Hey NorCal’ers — Emo here living in the east bay. First time Tacoma owner, long time Toyota owner (notably FJ60 still in family since new, back home in the dryness though), among stops with Subies and bimmers along the way. Won’t wheel hard but looking forward to camping and exploring, etc. Got some kids, aka cub scouts and snowboarders ;) Trails are tougher to find out here than I thought, being from New Mexico it bums me out! Stumbled on this thread googling for destinations. See you around!
