Which part of NC?

 

Charlotte here but will to drive 2-3 hours away for a fun day to meet some people. Prefer to be closer and would even pay to use land for a day in the mud for fun.

 

Have a look in the South East thread area. There a lot of chatter in the Charlotte, Raleigh, western NC threads, and lots of NC and SC folks use the SC BS and Gossip thread. URE is close to you, and this time of year is popular for wheeling and camping trips.
