    Yea and you and Martie both drive fords, so it's not like you aren't already used to making bad decisions.. :D

    Offer hasn't been accepted yet.. It was on the market for 4 days and got 4 offers. I can't lose (much) if I get the house..

    Should be able to make a good profit on it in a few years. Plus it's 3 houses down from my dads house so it's really a perfect location...


    And you'll really like this part... It has a garage! :)

    Nice. You can't go wrong buying in this type of economy. I bought my first place when I was 21 in 2003. Made 34% profit on it seven years later.


    I am looking at it too. I bought at 5.25, refi'd to 4.0 two years ago and now am probably going to go to a 25 year at 3.5. It will shave three years off my note and keep the payment the same. Thought about going to the 15 but I think kids are in the not to distant future and don't want to commit to the extra money each month. At this low of a rate, any extra money could go to investments or paying down the principle.
