Northeast peeps, need help with pricing

Hey everyone,

So I'm in the middle of trying to buy a 4runner. The 2017 really haven't hit the floors yet, and two separate dealers have told me to order it's a 8 week-4month wait. There are 6 2016 models left in the area that I want. It's a base trail model. It has running boards ( which I could care less about) and entune. the price i'm getting is msrp of 39388 and sell price of 37128. That sound high to me, especially for a 2016. With tax it comes to 39486. What have you guys been paying for your trucks, both sell price and out the door price? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Would you happen to have an answer for this gentleman?

 

My salesman says he will try to throw in a set of TRD pro rims to sweeten the deal. But i'm not holding my breath. Even with that it seems high. Flip side of the coin is, 4runners seem to fetch higher prices around here.

 

Nope sorry brother I always buy them outright, so when I trade them in I never have to much out of pocket towards the next one

 

Do you mind me asking what price you do pay for them?

 

Edit.....I will be the owner of a 2016 trail edition. Should be here in a couple of weeks depending on where they find it.
