Cruiser is having quite the week...
Front is being torn down first thing Monday to find out what the hell is wrong in my diff. Hope to god it was an install error since everything else is unlikely, but possible...

Complete new stereo. Pioneer double din head unit with Rockford Fosgate speakers all around, amp, and two 10" subs going in the rear.

Also with having a tinted windshield my headlights aren't the best... could upgrade the bulbs but since @TRSAndrew is having a black friday sale i'm thinking about splurging on some retrofit kits.

Question: If I do retrofit my headlights, halo or no? And if so amber or white? It would be 4 halos since high and low beam are separate. Not sure if that would look too much or not..

Agreed. I have halos on the Tacoma and can count on one hand how many times I've had them on in the last two plus years. Cool when you first get them then just meh and point less after that imo.

Agreed. I understand that upgrades and bars help wheeling at night and 'overlanding' but to put it bluntly, I'm over the shit. Every time I see another post about someone buying a 40" lightbar I want to kick a f'n puppy. And don't get me started on the 'ultimate' light upgrade where most the people are complaining of having to change out bulbs every three months. If the shit don't work, it ain't the ultimate.

    So in a nutshell, F halos :D

Time for a quad projector setup! No halos ;)
With this wiring harness when I turn my brights on the low beam projectors turn into high beams as well as the actual high beams, so double the high beams. Don't be in front of me :luvya:

What shifter extension did you use and what harness is that for double high beam action?

Headlights w/ a separate headlight beam bowl need these when you retrofit. See your highbeam wire plugs into your projector after you install them, this is so when you flick on the highbeams the power hits the solenoid and lifts your cutoff shield out of the way. Now when you have a separate high beam bowl, that high beam headlight won't turn on anymore. That's where the spitters come into play. They direct power to the projector to lift the solenoid and send power to the stock high beam bulb. Ta-da! Stock highbeam and projector high beam. MOAR LIGHT.

Now... Brian is doing a full quad setup.. and this is going to be my first quad setup I've ever done...

I'll admit I'm not sure how we are going to set his up. Could be just 2 low beams and then 4 high beams... or maybe 4 low beams and 4 highbeams? That seems a little impossible to line up... Idk, we'll see haha

Mine are tied into my running lights and wired w/ a relay kit to shut off when the headlights are on.

    Fighting quite an annoying issue..
Ever since I got the truck back theres a grinding noise up front over 25mph except when the engine is under load, also a slight take off vibe. I can feel it in the floorboard too.
Originally thought it was the front diff set up wrong or wheel bearings so tore the whole axle apart to find its nothing. Third member is at Olympic 4x4 for them to run some compound on it to make sure.
Going to put the axle back together tomorrow night, if it magically isn't fixed then it must be the driveshaft. Problem is im not sure what part of it. Could be bad u joints, u joint angles, length or splines. So its sitting on jack stands for now :(

going to sound dumb, but does the front diff have enough oil in it? the clowns who re-built and re-geared my front "forgot" to fill my diff before calling it a day initially

Haha yeah there was. A good amount of metal on my plug for only 50 miles but Mark Bowers (just left the manager position at Nitro) said it isn't abnormal. I knew there was going to be some but not this much.
