All depends on what you are trying to get to. If you want more lights then nFab makes a great light bar for the front, isn't to expensive. You can also look at the top of the page where it says mods and tutorials they have a section of cheap mods that people have done.

Well im at my first "major" fix. Tore a CV boot and going to need to replace it before the big trip this summer, will probably do the other side as well.

Pics are making me jealous and happy to see home at the same time man! Kings and Dakar should be nice but ouch on the cv boot! After researching this crazy place for the last year finally got my lift and just ordered my tires yesterday! Went with 5100 on all 4 corners with ome 885x in front and wheelers 3 leaf hd pack in back with cooper st maxx 255/80/17 pretty stoked!

Are you still liking the xtr with the tent setup or wish you had a different bar setup?

Thanks man!! Do you have any plans on coming back to the PNW? I think the boot is torn because the previous owner lived in Reno so the heat dried out the rubber, and when I stretched it to much over the weekend it just ripped.. Drove 100 miles back home though without a problem! haha

Thats awesome!! I was going to get OME springs but then decided why not get the big ones, buy once cry once right? Those 255's should look good, I've heard a lot of good things about the st maxx's

I love the xtr and the tent but at the same time I don't. I like it because its high and keeps me higher from wildlife, but I don't like it because its so high. Kinda a pain in the morning when your tired and sore to climb up every time to tuck in the sides and zip it all up. For me personally though this is the best option because I would have gone with a bed rack instead, but I wanted to be able to lock things up and not have them blow out. Surprisingly there isn't much wind resistance so that is nice.

Just what ever they normally come with, pretty sure they're 650lb springs. I did set them at 2.5" of lift, they come preset at about 2".

I think you have 600. I had to specify 650 when I called DSM.

Oh okay, I can call them and ask what they normally come with. Weird though since we have about the same amount of rings on the shock body and almost the same lift though.

They come standard with 600s I had to preload mine a bit to get the 2in lift I wanted. I'm trying to copy your rear setup since I bought a camper shell and need to rebuilt my shocks anyways

I love my Dakars, I would get the AAL for them but my shocks are to short and I don't feel like spending almost $900 on king rears right now

Yup. At some angles they look to small but they are fine. I'll be going with 285 duratracs next.

As you may already know Brian I have 285 Duratracs. I love them. They've been very good in all terrains.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Duratracs, that might be my next set too.

I honestly don't think you'll regret them. Duratracs and MTR's are both sweet!!
