    I'm originally from the Shuswap and I was talking to friends back there and they were telling me that there was a lot of vehicles that were buried. Some were buried in rocks, mud others in cement or still under water. It's going to take sometime for things to get back to normal. I hope that no one had plans to go house boating in Sicamous this summer.

    @whippersnapper: I'm sorry to report there was one person that did lose their life due to the flooding.
